Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie the Review | POST MOVIE REVIEW – POST Wrestling

John Pollock and Wai Ting review Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, a 2025 film/mockumentary about two unaccomplished Toronto musicians going to unimaginably unnecessary lengths through time, Drake, and fair use copyright law, to try to book a show at a local concert venue. Based on the 2007 webseries and 2017 television show of the same name.

Nothing we write here will really be able to summarize the appeal of this really strange and endlessly fascinating film. Watch the movie, or just listen to the review.

Synopsis from Neon:

When their plan to book a show at the Rivoli goes horribly wrong, Matt and Jay accidentally travel back to the year 2008. Blah blah blah blah blah.
