The professional wrestling world was rocked with the tragic news of the passing of Benjamin “PAC” Satterley. Just a day after competing at AEW’s All Out 2026 PPV, tributes poured out celebrating the life, career, and soul of PAC. One thing is for absolute certain; PAC was one of the most gifted athletes in the entire business with the ultimate mix of strength, agility, fluidity, and technical prowess, putting on many great matches during his AEW tenure.

Under the worst of circumstances, PAC’s passing has provided an opportunity for fans to take a look back at his remarkable catalog of work. TheSportster’s rating system will assess all of his show-stealers in AEW to determine the very best of the best of his career in the company. These ratings will be compared to those from Cagematch.net and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

PAC Vs. Kenny Omega (AEW Dynamite 02/26/2020)

Kenny Omega vs. PAC was one of AEW’s earliest showstealers, as the two battled it out in a 30-minute Iron Man match on AEW Dynamite. They clashed in a physical contest that had smooth, crisp in-ring work and proved to be a good character-driven performance. PAC had Omega’s number, picking apart AEW’s biggest star and looking like a world-beater in the process.

In the end, Omega managed to prevail, overcoming an onslaught to win the match 2-1.

The Death Riders Vs. Darby Allin & The Conglomeration (AEW Blood & Guts 2025)

The 2025 men’s Blood & Guts match may have been pretty slow in places and took some time to get to the bigger moments, but there was still so much to love about this wild, bloody, and violent fight involving ten of AEW’s best wrestlers.

Some of the bigger spots saw PAC throwing Darby Allin through flaming stables, Mark Briscoe & Wheeler Yuta brawling atop the cage, and finally Kyle O’Reilly forcing Jon Moxley to submit in a shock ending.

The Death Triangle Vs. The Elite (AEW Dynamite 01/11/2023)

The incredible World Trios Title ‘Best Of Seven’ feud between The Death Triangle and The Elite culminated in this “Escalera De La Muerte” match on AEW Dynamite, with these six men going to war to try and climb a ladder and retrieve the gold. As expected, this was an all out spotfest that sent the audience into a continued frenzy.

Clocking in at only 14 minutes, they packed so much into a short space of time to ensure that this was a worthy main event matchup. Sure, there was a lack of psychology given the stipulation and lack of runtime, but that didn’t impact the enjoyability factor and the performances from all involved. The Elite secured the championships here, but both trios came out as winners.

PAC Vs. Darby Allin (AEW Fairway To Hell 2026)

One of the most unique matches in AEW history came in the form of Darby Allin vs. PAC for the AEW World Championship at the special Fairway To Hell edition of Collision. With no count outs, Allin & PAC fought around the ring, into the crowd… and on a golf course. These two made full use of the venue they were in with strike exchanges on the grass, a sunset flip and Brutalizer in a bunker, and more.

Momentum swung both ways between these two rivals in a match that had big spots, brutal crashes (such as Allin falling from a balcony and through tables), all ending with Allin escaping thanks to a low blow, title belt shot, and a Coffin Drop. Fans had so much fun watching this from start to finish.

PAC Vs. Kenny Omega Vs. Orange Cassidy (AEW Double Or Nothing 2021)

One of the most unsung AEW World Championship matches ever came at Double Or Nothing 2021 as Kenny Omega defended his gold against both PAC & Orange Cassidy. It was a predictable match heading into the PPV, but with the sheer number of near-falls, the structure of the match, and the sequences shared between the three, all allowed fans to suspend their disbelief and buy into the prospect of an upset.

Cassidy in particular put in a special performance to get the crowd off their feet, coming so close to securing the victory on numerous occasions. The interference from members of The Elite did admittedly drag this down a little, as Omega was aided to a successful defense.

PAC Vs. Will Ospreay (AEW All Out 2024)

Will Ospreay put his International Championship up for grabs against PAC at All Out 2024, and the pair stole the show. With a gorgeous display of athleticism, smooth in-ring work, stiff strikes, breathtaking sequences, and high-flying excellence, this match had a bit of everything to make it a banger.

Much of the match was built around the two hitting some of the most insane poisonranas on one another, with one of Ospreay’s reversals in particular serving as a major highlight. There will be some who weren’t so hot on the action due to the lack of psychology here and there, but Ospreay’s win still came in a thrilling showcase.

The Death Triangle Vs. The Elite (AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash 2022)

The penultimate match in the ‘Best Of Seven Series’ between The Death Triangle and The Elite saw the two trios collide in a chaotic, wild, and enthralling Falls Count Anywhere match at the back end of 2022. There were simply too many incredible spots to count, with PAC, Rey Fenix, Penta, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson putting their bodies on the line to ensure a show-stealer.

The final moments which saw Omega hit a One Winged Angel on Fenix through a table, securing a decisive pinfall just seconds before PAC forced Matt Jackson to tap out to the Brutalizer, made for a dramatic finish.

Following the events of the Brawl Out controversy, The Elite returned from suspension at Full Gear 2022 to challenge The Death Triangle for the AEW World Trios Championships, resulting in one of the best trios matches of all time in AEW.

With the rich history and natural chemistry between all six men, this was an absolute thrillride from start to finish with both masterful in-ring quality and the stunning storytelling on display too. Penta & Fenix each struggled with the fact that PAC was willing to go the extra mile in order to win, finally succumbing to using a hammer behind the ref’s back and pulling off a shock victory that the crowd went wild for.
