Newcastle United football club offers condolences following passing of Benjamin Satterley (PAC) – POST Wrestling
Benjamin Satterley’s hometown football club paid tribute to him on Monday evening.
Newcastle United, the Premier League football team Satterley supported throughout his life, offered condolences following his sudden passing at the age of 40 on Sunday night.
Satterley, best known by his in-ring persona PAC, was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, in 1986. He lived in close proximity to Newcastle United’s home pitch and became a supporter of the team at an early age.
Newcastle’s social media page recently recounted PAC’s visit to their home field just over a decade ago. While wrestling for WWE under the persona “Neville,” Satterley was gifted a custom jersey with his ring name printed on the back. Satterley later wore the kit at a WWE house show at the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena.

Satterley once recalled being bitten by two bugs as a kid: The wrestling bug and the football bug.
“I’m a lifelong fan, I love the Club and came to as many games as I could growing up,” Satterley told Newcastle United in a 2014 web interview. “Since leaving the country, my love for the Toon has grown even more – this is my connection with home.”
