Baron Corbin and Jack Swagger winning Money In The Bank

WWE Money in the Bank is set for this weekend, October 10, in New Orleans. While it seems certain that Roman Reigns will defeat LA Knight to retain his World Heavyweight Championship, the ladder matches aren’t so easy to predict. For our money, it will be Penta who pulls down the briefcase and earns himself a title shot of his choosing anytime he wants over the next twelve months. But what about women? Six superstars will be competing for the prize, and only one of these rising talents will be sitting atop the ladder with the briefcase in their hand when all is said and done.

There Are No Veterans in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

  • The men’s ladder match has both veterans and young superstars.
  • The women’s match includes Tiffany Stratton, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Lash Legend, Jacy Jayne, and Roxanne Perez.
  • If Stratton wins, she could cash in on WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.

The men’s Money in the Bank ladder match is a mixture of both iconic veterans such as CM Punk and Kevin Owens alongside up-and-comers such as Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans. WWE decided not to do the same thing with the women’s match. There is no Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, or the like involved. Tiffany Stratton is the only woman with any huge accomplishments on the main roster. Beside her will be Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Jacy Jayne, Lola Vice, and Roxanne Perez.

This means that WWE has the chance to create a huge new main eventer with just one booking choice. If Stratton were to win for the second time, she could turn on Chelsea Green and challenge her for the WWE Women’s Championship. She doesn’t need that though. Meanwhile, Ruca, Legend, Vice, and Jayne are still being built up and not quite ready for the moment. Only one woman is beyond ready, and her time is now.

Roxanne Perez Will Win Money in the Bank

  • Perez was the first ever Ring of Honor Women’s Champion as Rok-C.
  • She was a two-time NXT Women’s Champion as both a babyface and heel.
  • Perez is a wrestling veteran who is still just 24-years-old.

Roxanne Perez will win the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. She is the only option who makes any sense. Just a few years ago, Perez was right there as one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world, perhaps only second to AEW’s Toni Storm, who was killing it with her “Timeless” gimmick. After being trained by Booker T, Perez became the first ever Ring of Honor Women’s Champion as Rok-C. When she signed with WWE, she took over NXT, winning the NXT Women’s Championship twice and succeeding as both an easy-to-love babyface and dastardly heel.

Perez hasn’t had the same level of success on the main roster. On Raw, she’s hidden in the Judgment Day faction, standing in the background behind Liv Morgan, or becoming a tag team champion with Raquel Rodriguez, as she waits for her turn to rise to the top. There’s no better time to make it happen than Money in the Bank. Despite being around in WWE for several years now, Perez is still just 24 and could dominate the women’s division for the next decade. With so many women’s stars aging and getting closer to retirement, and the face of the company, Rhea Ripley, so often on the shelf with injuries, WWE can create a new main eventer with Roxanne. And there’s already a perfect storyline to make it all happen.

Challenging Liv Morgan Will Finally End the Judgment Day

  • The Judgment Day was once the top heel faction on WWE Raw.
  • With so many member changes, the group no longer needs to exist.
  • Roxanne Perez can take out the Women’s World Champion and end the faction forever.

When the Judgment Day first formed, it was a vehicle for Edge to dominate Raw as a heel with his own group. The only problem was that Edge was too popular to be booed. WWE shifted their strategy and turned him babyface after the faction turned on him. This wasn’t the beginning of their downfall. Without Edge, they actually only got stronger, and without a true leader. Judgment Day allowed for Dominik Mysterio to shine as the top heel in all of wrestling as he stood beside his Mami, Rhea Ripley. It was also a breath of fresh air for the likes of Damian Priest and Finn Balor, whose dull characters desperately needed the change.

Now, though, there is no reason for the Judgment Day to exist. Most of its original members are gone, Dominik mostly loses these days, JD McDonagh has a ceiling, and Liv Morgan doesn’t need anyone to succeed on her own. With the Bloodline now on Raw and the Vision being better booked, the Judgment Day is a midcard faction past its expiration date. It’s time to dismantle it, and it all comes at the hands of Roxanne Perez.

If the group has a true leader in 2026, it’s Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. While she was away with injury, Roxanne Perez was brought into the group. Liv wasn’t happy with it, but whatever tension was first explored has since pretty much disappeared. The only true advancement of the storyline fans got came when Finn Balor left the group and told Roxanne she’d be better off without them. At the same time, Morgan was passive-aggressive in her treatment of Perez when she lost in the Queen of the Ring tournament. The champion doesn’t fear Roxanne. When Perez wins Money in the Bank, however, she soon will. All Roxanne has to do is cash in on Liv and defeat her and the faction comes crumbling down. It has to happen, and not just to end the group either. Roxanne Perez has earned this moment. She has waited patiently in the wings. Now it’s time for her to take over the women’s roster on Raw just as she once did on NXT. When she pulls down the briefcase, everyone else had better get out of her way.
