Brett Lauderdale To Address Joseph Sawyer – Fightful
The GCW World Title situation involving Joseph Sawyer will get some clarity.
Game Changer Wrestling announced that GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale will address the status of the World Title at GCW Fight Club on Sunday, October 11.
Joseph Sawyer is the reigning GCW Champion, but has missed recent GCW shows, including their event in Alaska.
At GCW Score on September 26, Joseph Sawyer walked out on his GCW Title defense against John Jeffrey after suffering an apparent knee injury. In the moment, an upset Sawyer stated that he thought he would be out for months. He later said he would be okay and has upcoming bookings, including TNA Bound For Glory on Sunday.
