Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes breaks some big news.

Rhodes recently sat down with the Flagrant podcast for a lengthy conversation ahead of the ‘Street Fighter’ movie, which hits theaters on October 16. The film stars both Rhodes and Flagrant’s host, Andrew Schulz.

At the tail end of the interview, Cody revealed that he recently re-signed with WWE. Furthermore, ‘The American Nightmare’ plans to end his wrestling career with the company.

“Forgive me if this is breaking news and please edit it if I’m not allowed to share, I just re-signed with WWE. So, I’ll end my wrestling career with WWE. But also, my wrestling career with WWE might continue because we are now, I just spoke to the New York Times about this and this was such a great moment to share, we’re now able to go do this stuff. So say I do have another project or two other projects, whatever it may be, I’m able to take a step away and I’m able to collaborate with WWE and I’m able to come back home.”

Rhodes did not reveal the length of his new deal with WWE. He last re-signed with the company in early 2024.
