Sean Sharaf Calls Gable Steveson A Rapist During UFC 331 Press Conference
Sean Sharaf brought up the history of Gable Steveson during an exchange at the UFC 331 press conference.
Asked about his dislike for Steveson at the press conference, Sharaf replied, “I don’t dislike the guy. Nobody likes a rapist. This guy raped a woman in 2019. That’s why everyone is booing him. You can’t do that shit. It’s wrong.”
Steveson said Sharaf has already lost the fight just by saying that.
Steveson was arrested in June 2019 on suspicion of sexual assault. It was determined that he would not face criminal charges due to a lack of adequate evidence.
Sharaf went on to call Steveson, “Loophole,” which is a nickname he’s been given online. Steveson said it was a good nickname.
