Scott Coker Announces Ki MMA, Set To Launch In 2027
Scott Coker has unveiled his newest promotion, Ki MMA.
On Monday, Coker announced Ki MMA, his latest MMA venture. The promotion will debut in the first quarter of 2027.
A 32-man featherweight grand prix was announced with a focus on up-and-coming talent from around the globe. The plan is to host four mini tournaments focused on different regions in the world: North America, South America, Europe, and Asia will each get a bracket.
The winner of each eight-man tourney will become a Continental Champion. The four tournament winners will face off in a one-night grand finals to crown a world champ.
Fights will take place inside a squared-circle ring.
Along with Coker; Kevin Kay, Tom Fox, Rich Chou, Paolo Boccotti, Lawrence Stuart, and Chris DeBlasio are part of the executive team.
No broadcast partner was announced.
The new league is backed with $60 million by a group of investors, which includes Tony Hawk.
