Tiffany Stratton really worried fans on Wednesday when she took a scary-looking fall while jumping out of the ring during a live-streamed training session. The former Women’s Champion fell straight down when trying to leap and flip out of the ring, but instead landed on her head and immediately crumpled onto the crash pad below.

Fans don’t often get a peek behind the curtain at what it looks like when WWE Superstars are training. Especially not a live look where anything can happen and fans watching might see something they’re not supposed to. Stratton demonstrated one of the risks involved with live streaming your training session when she ran the ropes live on her Twitch channel, tiffytimewwe.

Practicing what are pretty routine flips over the top rope – at least for a Superstar of Stratton’s caliber – Stratton took a nasty fall that, at first glance, looked and sounded like it hurt her quite a bit. The Superstar was supposed to pull herself up onto the top rope from a standing position, bounce on the top rope on her shins, flip forward, and then land on her back on the crash pad at ringside.

Stratton had successfully pulled off the move minutes earlier in the stream. Clearly, it’s something she has been struggling to nail, as the second after she nails it, she looks at the camera and excitedly yells, “I did it!” Riding that high, she asks the man behind the camera if she should try to do it where she “misses the rope”. It’s that attempt where Stratton hurts herself.

Thankfully, She Seems To Be Fine

The wrestler pulls herself up out of the ring, skips the bounce on the top rope part, but doesn’t rotate enough when on the other side of the ropes. Instead of landing on her back, Stratton goes straight down, head first into the crashpad, but there’s a bang that suggests she may have connected with the apron on her way down.

The man behind the camera, concerned, goes up to Stratton and asks, “You good?”, putting the camera on the ring, presumably so he could help if needed, but also so fans watching live wouldn’t be able to see if Stratton wasn’t okay. There’s a brief moment of silence, likely while Stratton is making sure she hasn’t seriously hurt herself, before she confirms she’s good.

This isn’t the first time Stratton has almost seriously injured herself practicing a spot during training, although last time the accident wasn’t streamed live on Twitch. It was caught on camera, though, and last year Stratton shared it. It shows her practicing a spot for a Money in the Bank match where she steps off a falling ladder and flips out of the ring to ringside. She nailed the move in the match, but during practice, Stratton slipped on the rope, fell out of the ring, and almost broke her neck.
