Alexa Bliss shares photo of black eye after bathroom mishap

A mishap overnight has WWE star Alexa Bliss sporting a black eye.

On her Instagram stories, Bliss shared two photos of the black eye she suffered while getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. She ended up slipping and falling eye-first onto the shower handle.

“Got up to pee in the middle of the night, slipped & hit my eye on the shower handle,” Bliss captioned the post. “Woke up like this.”

Bliss has several days for the issue to clear up before she competes this weekend at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event. The September 6 event in Atlanta will feature Bliss, Charlotte Flair & Tatum Paxley facing off against Jade Cargill, Michin & B-Fab in a six-woman tag match.

Friday’s SmackDown episode has already been taped and will include Flair & Paxley vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) in a non-title bout. Spoilers for the show can be found here.

Tatum Paxley added to Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair team —

The duo of Bliss & Flair is now a trio after Paxley was called up to SmackDown last month. Paxley has taken a lot of inspiration from watching Bliss growing up, and Bliss told Busted Open Radio that it’s been really cool to work together. Bliss hopes that she, Flair, and Paxley will be able to bring out new sides of each other’s characters.

“She is super talented,” Bliss said about Paxley. “It’s fun to see a character again come up on the main roster, because I love seeing people who are so into their characters. Because that’s one of the things that I learned from Bray [Wyatt], was you have to immerse yourself in the character. And to see that in Tatum, I’m really excited to explore that.”
