WWE Stars CM Punk & AJ Lee Reflect On Passing Of Their Dog Larry

CM Punk, AJ Lee, and Larry

CM Punk and AJ Lee took time out during “WWE Unreal” to address the passing of their dog, Larry.

The third season of “Unreal” released on Netflix on June 21, chronicling the reigning WWE Champion and former Women’s Intercontinental Champion in 2025 and early 2026.

During which, Punk was the World Heavyweight Champion heading into Survivor Series 2025, while also dealing with Larry’s passing, which he would announce on December 2.

“I like to say Larry went home to his home planet,” Punk said of his ‘little dude,’ adopted from PAWS Chicago in 2015. “Larry was a special little dude. He came with a bite on his record, so he was a little criminal. He was a perfect example of a little misfit that needed to find his people. No different than me. No different than AJ.”

He continued, “They warned us; they said, you know, if gets another bite on his record, by law, they have to put hi down. That’s why I was always so protective of Larry.”

Punk wore a “Larry’s Dad” patch to Survivor Series, something he said he asked in the last minute that day.

“It might not seem like a big deal. But, you know, it’s a big deal to me. I love the little dude. I just wanted him to be with me that day, that’s all.”

“We don’t have kids. We don’t have a lot of family. It was just us and Larry for a decade,” Lee said. “So it was like losing a family member. Larry was this emotional support for me. And the past few years as a senior dog, I became his emotional support human, and he never left my side.”

Larry has since been immortalized in action figure form as part of Mattel’s “Creations” series.
