Early Match Predictions For WWE Crown Jewel 2026

Silhouette of the Women's World Championship

Crown Jewel 2026 is the next PLE on the WWE calendar, and while things are still up in the air regarding the venue for the show due to ongoing conflicts, the event will still end up taking place somewhere across the globe. WWE will once again be hosting the Crown Jewel Championship showdowns, though there is every chance that titles can change hands before the PLE takes place.

When looking at the current events across WWE programming, the fallout from the recent Money In The Bank 2026 PLE, and using some educated guesswork, this is what the upcoming Crown Jewel match card could end up looking like.

Cody Rhodes Vs. Randy Orton (Steel Cage)

  • Rhodes & Orton have been feuding in WWE for months.
  • They are one win apiece in their 2026 WWE feud.
  • WWE will end Orton vs. Rhodes with a stipulation at Crown Jewel.

The feud between Cody Rhodes & Randy Orton, which has been ongoing since WrestleMania season, hasn’t hit the high notes. After a disappointing match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, they have traded promos, brawled, and elevated their hatred of one another. With how heated WWE is attempting to present this feud, it will come to an end with a big stipulation. With WWE already holding a Hell In A Cell match at SummerSlam between Oba Femi & Brock Lesnar, it is way more likely for Triple H to utilize the Steel Cage stipulation for this rivalry.

With this rivalry at 1-1, expect to see Rhodes & Orton settle the score at Crown Jewel 2026 inside a solid Steel Cage.

Oba Femi Vs. Bron Breakker

  • Femi against Breakker at Saturday Night’s Main Event had a non-finish.
  • At Money In The Bank, Femi defeated Bronson Reed.
  • WWE needs to book a decisive winner between Femi & Breakker.

In a battle for the right to be called the “future” of WWE, Oba Femi & Bron Breakker will meet again at Crown Jewel 2026. They first clashed at Saturday Night’s Main Event, though a disqualification finish led to frustrated fans. Since then, Femi’s issues with The Vision have continued, leading to a match with the returning Bronson Reed at Money In The Bank.

With Femi standing tall, it is very likely that his attention will be turned back to Breakker. Both men need a big win, and neither can really afford a loss, but it would make sense for WWE to book a definitive winner in this food given that the pair have been developing issues for some time now. A PLE showdown is what these rising stars both deserve to end their rivalry.

Jacy Jayne Vs. Charlotte Flair (Women’s United States Championship)

  • WWE rarely booked the United States Title on a PLE.
  • Fatal Influence lost their tag titles to Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley.
  • Jayne and Flair could meet in singles action at Crown Jewel.

Ever since the Women’s United States Championship was introduced at the back end of 2023, the title has been defended just one time on a WWE PLE (at Night Of Champions 2026). However, Crown Jewel could change that. The women’s division on Friday Night SmackDown has seen plenty of interweaving stories, with one of those now seeing Fatal Influence battling with the trio of Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley. With Bliss & Paxley winning the Women’s Tag Team Titles on SmackDown, the door is certainly open for Flair to challenge United States Champion Jacy Jayne.

These two women met on SmackDown earlier this year, showing potential to have an even stronger match if the stakes are high. The United States Title has certainly felt secondary to the Intercontinental Title, but inserting Flair into the mix would be a strong way of elevating the prestige of the belt.

CM Punk Vs. Kevin Owens

  • Owens & Punk have been at each other’s throats in 2026.
  • Punk defeated Owens in a WWE Championship match on SmackDown.
  • They were both involved in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match.

CM Punk and Kevin Owens have a long-time rivalry dating back to before their days in WWE, and in 2026 their issues have reignited. In the WWE Championship scene, Punk & Owens have already battled it out in singles action, but interference led to a non-clean finish.

After recent promo battles on the road to their respective involvement in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match, it is clear that there is more in store for their feud with one another. A match at Crown Jewel 2026 could be the next step on their journey.

2

Liv Morgan Vs. Chelsea Green (Women’s Crown Jewel Championship)

  • Green is the reigning WWE Women’s Champion.
  • Morgan won the Women’s World Title back at Money In The Bank.
  • Morgan is a former winner of the Crown Jewel Championship.

Coming out of Money In The Bank 2026, Liv Morgan & Chelsea Green are WWE’s two reigning women’s division world champions, providing WWE with a babyface vs. heel showdown for Crown Jewel. With how little Green has defended her title since her win at SummerSlam, and with Morgan only just reclaiming her championship, we cannot see either woman losing the gold before the next PLE.

Morgan will seek to become the first ever two-time Crown Jewel Champion, with Green looking to build on her recent momentum as a fan-favorite.

Roman Reigns Vs. Sami Zayn (Men’s Crown Jewel Championship)

  • Reigns is the current World Heavyweight Champion.
  • Zayn is the reigning WWE Champion.
  • Reigns & Zayn have a history with one another in WWE.

Over on SmackDown in 2026, the WWE Championship has chopped and changed hands pretty regularly, though we cannot see it happening again before Crown Jewel 2026. Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn is an easy story to tell with all of their history as both rivals and allies in The Bloodline.

Zayn is someone who won’t be hurt in defeat, providing Reigns with a straightforward route to adding his name to the list of Crown Jewel Champions.
