Penta, Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee will face Los Perros del Mal after rejecting the group and surviving a post-match attack on Saturday’s AAA.

The six-man match was set for August 30 after Penta defeated Bronco Nima and again refused an invitation to rejoin his former faction. Los Perros subsequently turned on Nima before attacking Penta, bringing Fenix and Dragon Lee out for the save.

Elsewhere, AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio indefinitely suspended Omos after the heavyweight attacked him following a no contest with Galeno.

Saturday’s episode was taped on August 15 at Coliseo Centenario in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico.

Omos vs. Galeno

The show opened with Omos and Galeno in a match to determine the final participant in the AAA Latin American Championship match.

Galeno initially attempted to match Omos with power but had little success moving the larger man. He changed tactics by attacking the leg and eventually brought Omos down with a dropkick to the knee and DDT.

A top-rope splash earned Galeno only a one-count.

Omos responded with a chokeslam, but Galeno kicked out at two. Their fight then moved outside, where Galeno used the steel steps.

Omos answered with a big boot before taking possession of the steps himself and repeatedly attacking Galeno. The referee determined that the match could no longer continue and called for the bell.

Omos continued after the decision, chokeslamming Galeno onto the commentary table and then throwing him into it again, causing the desk to collapse.

He returned to the ring with the steps and appeared ready to throw them toward Galeno when Rey Mysterio intervened.

Omos grabbed the AAA general manager by the throat and lifted him for a chokeslam. Dorian Roldán attempted to talk him down while AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio encouraged the attack.

Omos eventually released Rey without delivering the move.

Mysterio responded by announcing that Omos was suspended from AAA indefinitely. Omos then struck Rey in the chest, knocking him through the ropes to the floor.

Later in the show, Mysterio held a press conference and strengthened the punishment, saying Omos was banned from AAA events and arenas.

He also said Galeno had been taken to a hospital and was not medically cleared to compete.

With the qualifier failing to produce a winner, Mysterio gave Damian Priest the remaining place in the vacant Latin American Championship match.

Flammer says she has no challenger

Earlier footage showed Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer and La Hiedra meeting with Rey Mysterio.

Flammer argued that after holding the championship for more than 1,000 days and defeating the available challengers, there was nobody left for her to face at TripleMania.

Mysterio responded by proposing a gauntlet match at Ola de Calor on August 30. The winner will challenge Flammer for the Reina de Reinas Championship at TripleMania 34. Flammer accepted the proposal.

AAA World Tag Team Championship No. 1 contender’s match

Los Americanos, LWO, Money Machine and Psycho Circus competed for an opportunity against AAA World Tag Team Champions The War Raiders.

Cruz Del Toro and Rayo began with a rapid exchange before LWO isolated the Americano.

Money Machine later took control until Dave the Clown entered, followed by Murder Clown using his size against several opponents.

The other teams eventually combined to remove Murder from the ring, leading to a sequence of dives to the floor.

Murder later returned to deliver a double Samoan drop to Los Americanos before launching himself from the ring onto the group outside.

Bravo recovered and used an airplane spin on Murder, setting up a diving headbutt from Rayo. Joaquin Wilde stopped the ensuing pin.

LWO picked up the pace in the closing sequence, but Los Americanos countered a double-team attempt.

Rayo and Bravo then combined on Wilde for the winning fall.

Los Americanos will challenge The War Raiders for the AAA World Tag Team Championship at Ola de Calor.

El Carnicero identified

A vignette aired concerning the unidentified figure who has been targeting members of Psycho Circus.

The attacker was identified as El Carnicero.

The character has been connected to a series of attacks involving the group, including the masked man who has repeatedly targeted Psycho Clown during recent AAA programming.

AAA announced that El Carnicero will make his in-ring debut at Ola de Calor in Edinburg, Texas.

Penta vs. Bronco Nima

Penta faced Bronco Nima with his relationship to Los Perros del Mal at stake.

Daga had invited Penta to return to the group on the previous episode, arguing that he would need allies if he eventually challenged World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.

Penta questioned whether all of the current Perros had earned the right to represent the group, singling out Nima.

Nima then proposed a match with the stipulation that Penta would be forced to join Los Perros if he lost.

He attacked Penta during his entrance on Saturday, throwing him into the barricade and steps before the bell.

Once the match began, Nima continued the attack and at one stage tied Penta’s mask to the ropes while striking him.

Penta eventually fought free and connected with a bulldog, dropkick and dive to the floor.

Nima regained control by catching Penta coming from the top rope with a knee and followed with a gutbuster for two.

He later threw a Perros del Mal shirt at Penta, who answered with strikes and a Backstabber.

Penta attempted the Mexican Destroyer several times but could not complete it. After another counter from Nima, Penta shifted into a roll-up and scored the three-count.

The result meant Penta was under no obligation to join Los Perros del Mal.

Los Perros turn on Bronco Nima

Daga and the rest of Los Perros arrived after the match.

Rather than attacking Penta immediately, the group blamed Nima for his defeat.

Angel reminded Nima of the faction’s mantra — “God forgives, Perros don’t” — before Daga struck him with a chair.

The group continued attacking Nima, with Karmen Petrovic delivering the Petrofier, before throwing him from the ring.

Daga then offered Penta the Perros shirt one more time.

Penta took it and considered the offer before handing it back.

Los Perros responded by attacking him.

Rey Fenix ran in to help his brother but was overwhelmed by the numbers. Dragon Lee followed and helped Penta and Fenix clear the ring.

Penta then said the men beside him represented his real family and challenged Los Perros to a six-man match on August 30.

The trio stood together to close the show, setting up Penta, Fenix & Dragon Lee against Los Perros del Mal.
