Chelsea Green has reached new heights in her popularity following her WWE SummerSlam title win and recent SmackDown promo.

During the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Green delivered a passionate promo addressing her title win and recent orbital injury. She also engaged in a conversation with GM Nick Aldis and Gunther, which even raised the bar of her promo.

Now, days later, Green’s husband, Matt Cardona, commented that her injury promo made her a ‘made woman’ in WWE. Speaking to Busted Open, Cardona opened up on how entertaining Green is.

I told her this—I said, ‘I’m actually glad you got hurt, because you were able to cut that heartfelt promo,’ which I think makes her a made woman right now in WWE. I think everyone knows how entertaining she is, but she’s so much more than that. And I think that promo on Friday really cemented that,” Cardona shared.

Injured, Green has to defend her title within the next 30 days or relinquish the championship.

AJ Styles shares an update on Chelsea Green’s injury

Speaking on the AJ Styles Show, the WWE Hall of Famer shared a major update on Green’s orbital injury.

They’re going to throw a mask on her, I’m sure of it. I actually did get to see her. I think she came down to the trainers. I believe she lives in Florida, so I saw her at the trainers at the Performance Center, and she’s doing okay. She’s not mad about the situation. It is what it is. She said she’s got some bad luck,” he shared.

To me, when I see someone get hurt and they go, ‘Nope, we’re still doing this,’ to me, it makes them a bigger babyface. Becky Lynch became a super-duper star because she got punched in the face. I believe it broke her nose. I could be wrong about this. She became a bigger star because of that. Like, she became a star because of it, because that picture of her all bloodied up going, ‘Come on.’ You know, like, ‘Oh my gosh, that was so freaking awesome.’ I remember seeing it and going, ‘Wow, that’s a star.’
