Noisy Boy to challenge Rey Fenix for AAA Cruiserweight Championship on Saturday night
AAA has added a championship match to the card in Torreon tomorrow night.
The lucha libre promotion announced on social media today that Rey Fenix would be defending his AAA Cruiserweight Championship against Noisy Boy on Saturday, August 15.
Fenix is a two-time AAA Cruiserweight Championship. He won it first from Lio Rush at TripleMania XXX: Tijuana in 2002. Most recently, he won it from Laredo Kid at Noche de los Grandes in Monterrey last May.
Noisy Boy mostly wrestles in IWRG and The Crash, where he has won multiple championships.
has won several championships in IWRG and The Crash but has never won a title in AAA. He has been appearing sporadically in AAA since 2024.
AAA takes place at Coliseo Centenario in Torreon on Saturday, August 15. It will air live on Fox and Fox One throughout Latin American, and on YouTube in the United States. This is the first match announced for the show. Here is what is known for the card so far:

- AAA Mega Campeon Dominik Mysterio will appear.
- El Grande Americano, Mysterio’s challenger for TripleMania this year, will appear.
