Maxxine Dupri says WWE’s travel schedule is both a blessing and a curse

WWE Superstars are regularly on the road, travelling between cities for live shows, TV episodes, and PLEs. Rarely getting a break in between, these travel schedules can often get hectic and weary.

Speaking to the Witty Whittier YouTube channel, Dupri addressed WWE’s travel schedule and called it both a blessing and a curse. “I think I’m going to say, I think the schedule. I think people just don’t realize how much you’re not home and, like, how much you’re spending time on the road, which is a beautiful thing. I think it’s like the blessing and the curse, right?”

The 29-year-old said that fans do not understand how tough the WWE travel schedule is, the early flights and straight show appearances. Dupri claimed that one needs to experience the WWE travel schedule to “fully understand” it.

“So, I’m going to say that. I think people do understand, but until you’ve experienced those early flights and then landing and going straight to another show, I think until you’ve really experienced that, you can’t fully understand it,” Dupri said.

A former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion and a part of the American Academy faction, Dupri is currently paired with Austin Theory and The Vision.

Maxxine Dupri addresses WWE: Unreal’s criticism

Ever since WWE: Unreal was released on Netflix, it has been the subject of extreme hate and criticism amongst the fans. Addressing the negativity toward it, Dupri claimed that people can simply choose not to watch it.

“I fell in love with this from Total Divas, so I’m always going to stand 10 toes down with anything that shows that other side of our business because I personally just really enjoy that. And I think the thing to keep in mind with Unreal is, like, they’re filming all year. So there’s hours and hours and hours of footage for these six episodes, right?

“So it’s like even though people think like, ‘Oh my gosh, we’re seeing too much,’ or this and that, like, you’re still just getting a little taste, you know? And at the end of the day, I don’t know why everyone’s up in arms,” she added.

“If you don’t want to watch something, don’t watch it. Do you have no willpower, no self-discipline? Like, my goodness, it’s crazy. I think it’s an incredible show. And if you don’t like it, hit next.”
