Stephanie Vaquer, and El Grande Americano. Penta attempts to make history tonight on Monday Night Raw in Mexico City by beating Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Dragon Lee challenges Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Championship, and there are two Money in the Bank qualifier matches. On the men’s side, Je’Von Evans, Austin Theory, and Big Cass attempt to gain a spot, and on the women’s side, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Raquel Rodriguez work to become this year’s Briefcase winner.

  • Rey Mysterio opens the show with Adam Pearce. Mysterio says it’s the first time in 15 years they’ve been in Mexico City, and talks about his position as General Manager of AAA. He talks about multiple moments that happened the past few days, but one moment that stood out: Stephanie Vaquer against Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship with Becky Lynch as referee. Vaquer won the championship in her home country of Chile. Mysterio and Pearce welcome Vaquer to the ring. She addresses the crowd and speaks about her win, and says its the honor of her life to win her championship back in Chile. Liv Morgan appears with Dominik Mysterio, and she says she got screwed by Becky Lynch for her championship. Morgan says it’s okay, because she’s still the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time. She tells Rey he’s hit an all-time low by spending time with Vaquer. Dominik attempts to speak and the Mexico crowd boos him, and Rey reminds him that he lost his championship to El Grande Americano. They replay his loss from TripleMania. Dominik challenges Rey and Vaquer to a mixed tag team match tonight, but Rey isn’t cleared to compete. El Grande Americano appears to thunderous applause to take Rey’s place in the match.

The Wrestlers Wrestled Tonight On WWE Monday Night Raw

From the top to the bottom of tonight’s Monday Night Raw card, the entirety of their wrestling capability was on display. From the opening match, to the Money in the Bank qualifiers, to the Chad Gable/Dragon Lee match, there wasn’t a dull moment on the program in-ring wise, and it added an extra level of excitement to tonight’s card.

The main event stole the show, as Roman Reigns does what he does best in his match against Penta, another unbelievable competitor who sits at the top of his class in this crowded field of challengers. Although the result was a bit less like the surprise changes we’ve seen recently, it was nonetheless a spectacular sight, leaving us to wonder what’s next for Penta after this loss.
