The New Tag Team Set To Take Over WWE
Tag teams have been struggling in WWE. The Motor City Machine Guns and the Wyatt Sicks were released not too long ago and the New Day shockingly left the company over a pay dispute. Tag team wrestling feels uninspired and unimportant. It’s even worse over on the women’s side. Forced together teams and bad booking (or the complete lack of) have seriously harmed women’s tag team wrestling, which never fully recovered from Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out of the company. Things have started to get better of late thanks to the NXT call-ups of Fatal Influence, with Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid now ruling at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Every heel team needs an equally great babyface duo to fight with, and WWE has found them.
Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile Will Become Iron Built
- Women like Blake Monroe and Giulia have been badly booked in WWE.

WWE is filled with underused and undervalued superstars, especially on the women’s side, where big names like Blake Monroe and Giulia struggle to get on SmackDown. Then there are those who can’t even get a spot on the card. This is where Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile find themselves. Thankfully, it’s about to change, because WWE is creating a new tag team who could take over the women’s tag team division.
Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile are planned to return to TV as a tag team and filmed vignettes this summer. WWE sources believe that this team is tied to the “Iron Built” trademark.
Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile Haven’t Been on WWE TV in Months
- Ivy Nile was in the background of Diamond Mine and American Made.
- Grace had a legendary run with TNA, which allowed her to work with WWE.
- She didn’t live up to her potential in NXT and has disappeared from SmackDown.
This move can’t come soon enough. Ivy Nile has never really had much of a chance to show what she can do in the ring. Instead, she’s spent most of her career at the side of men, whether be in NXT’s Diamond Mine, or alongside the Creed Brothers in American Made. She has had matches here and there, but never at a consistent pace to get the casual WWE audience behind her. Things are so bad now that Nile hasn’t had a match on Raw in months.
It’s even worse for Jordynne Grace. No disrespect meant to Nile, but she has a low ceiling at the moment due to her never being given much of a chance. The same can’t be said for Grace. Not too long ago, she was arguably the best women’s wrestler in the world thanks to her legendary run in TNA. This led to some truly amazing appearances in WWE. Since joining the TKO-owned company, however, the bottom has fallen out. In NXT, she never lived up to her potential, and on SmackDown, start and stop booking and injury halted any momentum. Now, strangely, despite being healthy, Grace can’t even get on TV.
Iron Built Can Add Excitement to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Division

- Grace is a three-time TNA Knockout Women’s Champion.
- Iron Built can be better than the Bellas, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, and Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Iron Built is the perfect tag team name for two women perfect for each other. The reason for this pairing is quite obvious. Both Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile are jacked to the gills. Ivy Nile is 5’3″ of muscle, with an impressive resume which includes being the inaugural winner on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Titan Games, along with a background in MMA. Despite her small stature, Nile looks intimidating when she steps into the ring.
For Grace, what made her stick out in TNA is that she didn’t look like the other women on the roster. With her powerful build, Grace won the TNA Knockout Women’s Championship three times and convincingly wrestled men at times. Grace is also a powerlifter who has competed in bodybuilding competitions. Put her alongside Nile and their physiques will immediately draw in the attention of viewers. Neither Grace nor Nile are the best talkers in the world. They don’t have to be. In a world of sameness, they are original and fresh, a unique look times two who can be booked to bulldoze their way through any tag team in WWE.
The women’s division needs them. Outside of Fatal Influence, women’s tag teams are weak. The Bellas can only do so much. Nia Jax and Lash Legend aren’t all that compelling. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss have been thrilling, but their time together is likely close to an end. Besides Legend, all of these women have also been around for a long time and accomplished so much. It’s past time for something new. Grace and Nile, together as Iron Built, offer this. Look for them to be on TV together and destroying anyone in their path very soon. It will be exciting to watch. If Triple H doesn’t get bored and quickly forget about them as he often does with new projects, Iron Built can lift up a struggling division and carry it on their muscular shoulders.
