NEVER Openweight Championship added to King of Pro Wrestling – POST Wrestling
The NEVER Openweight Championship will be defended at New Japan’s King of Pro Wrestling next month.
The October 12 event at Ryogoku Kokugikan has added a championship match between Aaron Wolf and Kosei Fujita after the challenger pinned Wolf in a tag match on Thursday at Korakuen Hall.
Fujita used a bridging German suplex to win the Olympic gold medalist as Fujita & Ryohei Oiwa beat Wolf & Taichi.
King of Pro Wrestling will feature Oiwa challenging for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Yota Tsuji or Hirooki Goto in the main event following Oiwa’s G1 Climax victory.
