Death Riders vs. United Empire, Jericho vs. Nick Wayne booked for 9/16 AEW Dynamite – POST Wrestling
Two matchups have been confirmed for next week’s AEW Dynamite from Norfolk, Virginia.
AEW World Champion Will Ospreay will work alongside United Empire teammates Andrade El Idolo and Francesco Akira next week when he takes on the Death Riders trio of Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd, and PAC.
We’re inching closer to All Out at the end of this month, when Ospreay will put his title on the line against Moxley. Next Wednesday’s six-man showdown will be the first in-ring showdown between them since this bout was made official.
It was also confirmed that rivals Jericho and Nick Wayne will square off in singles action next week.
A feud between Jericho and Wayne was born out of this year’s All In Casino Gauntlet Match, which they both competed in. After getting into a backstage brawl last week and later also fighting on Collision, they’ll have a formal match in Norfolk.
Jericho will enter with the experience edge, as he has wrestled for 14 more years than Wayne has been alive.
