Multiple Trios matches will take place, as Dr. Britt Baker teams with Persephone and Hikaru Shida to face Thunder Rosa, Hyan, and Maya World, and AEW Trios Champions Swerve Strickland and The New Level face The Conglomeration. Steven Borden makes his AEW debut teaming with Darby Allin against Mark Davis and Josh Alexander, and The Young Bucks face Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher.

- Rebel opens the show with The Waiting Room with Dr. Britt Baker, and they welcome Persephone, the new TBS Champion. Baker and Persephone talk about their upcoming match tonight with Thunder Rosa, Hyan, and Maya World. Hikaru Shida joins them and tells Baker her nose looks better after she broke it.
- Steven Borden is backstage with Darby Allin, and says he didn’t want to look back at his life in 20 years and think he could’ve done more. Allin says that it’s not about being the next Sting. It’s about being the first Steven Borden.
AEW Dynamite With A Cause Tonight For Rebel
On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the show was dedicated to Rebel’s battle against ALS, and the AEW stars were all in for the fight. In many emotional segments, AEW and the stars of the company took part in ice bucket challenges, and a promo package highlighting her story was played.
