CM Punk comments after wrestling at WWE NXT live event
CM Punk has commented after wrestling at the WWE NXT house show on Saturday night.
Punk teamed with Myles Borne and Tavion Heights to defeat The Vanity Project in the main event of the show, which took place at the VSU Multipurpose Center in Petersburg, Virginia.
Following the event, Punk posted to his Instagram Stories:
“Thank you to all the fans who came out tonight. You were BEAUTS. Amazing energy. Thank you Petersburg VA! Special thank you to all NXT talent and crew. My heart is so full. I love this. I am so grateful, and appreciative of everyone’s hard work. What a life!”
CM Punk increases ticket sales for WWE NXT house show in Petersburg, Virginia
At the time Punk was first announced for the show, 1,261 tickets had been distributed for the event. That number increased to 1,483 shortly after he was announced for the show, as reported earlier this week.
On the day of the show, WrestleTix reported that the number had increased to 2,135 tickets.
