Report: WWE Paid For Hip Surgery For Psicosis – Fightful

WWE reportedly took care of Psicosis.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE paid for Psicosis’s hip surgery.

Nick Khan reportedly approved the hip replacement cost, which was roughly $44,000. Rey Mysterio reportedly spearheaded the idea.

At the 2026 Cauliflower Alley Club reunion, Psicosis was honored with the 2026 Lucha Libre Award. He used a cane to help with his mobility. Rey Mysterio was there to support him.

Psicosis spent decades doing a top rope leg drop as his finisher. He last wrestled in February 2024. He made his debut in 1990. He was a two-time WCW World Cruiserweight Champion, though his two reigns lasted a combined nine days.
