WWE 2K26 Is Getting Street Fighter DLC That Adds A Hadouken To Your Moveset
Two of WWE’s biggest Superstars have key roles in the new Street Fighter movie releasing in theaters later this week. It’s only fair that Paramount and Capcom give something back to WWE in return. That return gift has now been revealed to be official Street Fighter DLC that will add new looks and even moves from the iconic fighting series to WWE 2K26.
WWE 2K26 Is Getting Street Fighter DLC
A first look at the Street Fighter Elite Pack was shown off in a trailer during IGN Fan Fest. It featured action figure-style versions of Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio, similar to the toy skins Superstars have had in the 2K games for a few years now. The key difference is Dominik’s new skin has him looking like Street Fighter’s Ken, while Rey is dressed as Ryu.
The DLC will go well beyond just letting certain wrestlers cosplay as Street Fighter characters. After Dominik and Rey enter the ring, we cut to gameplay of the father and son fighting dressed as Ryu and Ken. Fighting is the right word for it too, even though this is technically DLC for a wrestling game. The two of them mostly throw punches and kicks, and we’re only really shown action from a side-on perspective, just like in Street Fighter and other classic fighting games.
I’ve still not revealed the best part. Towards the end of the first look at the crossover DLC, we’re shown Dominik and Rey using iconic moves from the Street Fighter universe. Dom’s up first as he hits his old man with a Shoryuken. That’s the uppercut that sends opponents flying up into the air. Oh, and the person delivering the move’s fist is on fire. Rey then replies by firing a Hadouken back at his son. Perhaps the most famous move in all of Street Fighter, where Ryu fires a fireball at his opponent. That’s right, you’ll be able to do that in WWE 2K26 soon.
The Rock, Bianca Belair, And Ultimate Warrior Are Also Getting Street Fighter Makeovers
The DLC will be available, presumably to buy, from October 28, 2026, and you’ll naturally need to own the base game to use it, and it will include Street Fighter makeovers for more than just Rey and Dom. Other crossover characters will include The Rock as Street Fighter’s final boss, M. Bison, Ultimate Warrior as Akuma, and Bianca Belair dressed as Cammy. An odd choice considering Liv Morgan was reportedly considered for the role of Cammy in the Street Fighter movie, but an injury meant she wasn’t available.
It’s also odd that, as far as I can tell, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns won’t be part of this DLC. Rhodes is Guile in the movie, and Reigns plays Akuma. You’d think, if anything, the WWE 2K26 Street Fighter DLC would include their movie versions as playable characters, but seemingly not.
