TNA Knockouts Championship match added to Bound for Glory, Ryan Nemeth qualifies for X Division Scramble – POST Wrestling

A TNA Knockouts Championship match is the latest addition to next month’s Bound for Glory event in Tampa.

Xia Brookside will defend her championship against Indi Hartwell on Sunday, October 11, as announced on Thursday Night Impact. The angle saw authority figure Daria Rae slap Hartwell, and Santino Marella caught the assault on camera and sent the clip to the board of directors (who apparently don’t have access to AMC). Rae was suspended for striking Hartwell, and Marella made the title match.

Ryan Nemeth has qualified for the X Division Scramble Match for the vacant belt. Nemeth joins Fabian Aicher, KC Navarro, Rich Swann, and Cedric Alexander, with the final spot to be determined in a match between BDE and Mr. Elegance.

The X Division title was vacated by Leon Slater, who activated “Option C” to receive a TNA World Championship match against Nic Nemeth at Bound for Glory.

The October 11 pay-per-view has 734 tickets distributed, according to WrestleTix, at the Yuengling Center in Tampa. The show is way below the level of last year’s event, which had 7,018 tickets distributed at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
