Chris Jericho Wins AEW World Championship

• This is an underrated AEW PPV main event.

At the first ever AEW All Out PPV in 2019, the show was headlined by Chris Jericho & Adam Page as they battled to be crowned the inaugural AEW World Champion, so the stakes could not have been higher. This was a very strong matchup that goes unsung in AEW, ending with Jericho defeating Page with the Judas Effect to win the match and make history.

This was a hugely notable moment in AEW and it is still among one of the best championship wins to have taken place at the All Out show, even if it has been forgotten about by many.

Jon Moxley Wins AEW International Championship

Orange Cassidy’s reign as International Champion was incredible, outlasting a whole host of names week after week, emerging as one of the most impressive and gritty champions to have ever existed in the promotion. Cassidy’s reign met its biggest challenge – and he finally bit off more than he could chew in the main event of All Out 2023 against Jon Moxley.

In a bloody, sluggish, intense affair, it was Moxley who was the one to finally defeat Cassidy, ending his reign in heartbreaking fashion. With how well Cassidy’s reign has been built, with him clearly getting more and more exhausted upon each defense, his resilient fight against Moxley was presented perfectly.

CM Punk Wins AEW World Championship

• Punk vs. Moxley is a forgotten AEW classic.
• The Brawl Out incident overshadowed a great AEW title change.

In the main event of AEW All Out 2022, CM Punk outlasted Jon Moxley in an exhausting fight for the AEW World Championship which felt like an authentic battle between hated rivals. The match had it all – technical work, limb-based offense, brutal strikes, and blood, being presented with a “big fight feel”.

Punk’s victory in his hometown of Chicago was a fantastic moment in a vacuum, though was of course outshined and overshadowed by his injury and Brawl Out incident after the PPV went off the air. However, when viewed solely under the lens of a title win, this is up there with the best at the AEW All Out PPV.

The Elite Win AEW World Trios Championships

• The Elite defeated Dark Order & Adam Page at All Out 2022.
• Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks became the first AEW World Trios Champions.
• This was an incredible match at AEW All Out.

In a match rich with history, friendships, and rivalries, The Elite members of Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks defeated Adam Page, John Silver & Alex Reynolds in one of the best matches in AEW All Out history, becoming the first ever AEW World Trios Champions in the process. Unfortunately for The Elite, they would be stripped of the gold over the next week due to their involvement in the Brawl Out controversy, but the title win itself was tremendous.

When looked upon in a vacuum, this match is one of the most underrated in AEW history and provided a historic moment that showcased The Elite as a cohesive, dominant unit who were the perfect picks to kick off the lineage of these belts.

Kris Statlander Wins AEW Women’s World Championship

• Statlander won a fatal four way at All Out 2025.
• Fans were shocked at Toni Storm’s title reign ending.
• Statlander’s title win had been a long time coming in AEW.

After years of chasing, losses, injuries, and more, Kris Statlander finally climbed the ranks in 2025 by becoming the brand new AEW Women’s World Champion at All Out in what was a major shock.

At the time, Toni Storm was dominating the division and there was no clear wrestler standing out as the one to dethrone her, so Statlander’s fatal four way ascension came out of nowhere. The surprise switch was a welcome one and proved to be one of the best moments in All Out history.

The greatest title win in the history of the AEW All Out PPV came in 2021 when Rey Fenix & Penta of the Lucha Bros ousted long-time rivals The Young Bucks to become the brand new AEW World Tag Team Champions – and it just so happened to be in one of the most enthralling steel cage matches ever.

This was a brutal, bloody, athletic masterclass featuring two of the best tag teams in the world. From entrances to ending, everything about this was perfect, and the coronation of The Lucha Bros was a special moment. It will be incredibly hard to top this championship win at a future All Out show.
