Vice TV adds ‘The Best of the Ariel Helwani Show’ to Friday night lineup – POST Wrestling

Vice TV is adding to its combat sports portfolio with the addition of The Ariel Helwani Show, a weekly round-up show dedicated to the online platform.

The broadcaster has added a weekly Best of The Ariel Helwani Show to its Friday night lineup, beginning this week at 8 p.m. ET. The one-hour compilation will air highlights from the show that runs on Yahoo Sports’ Uncrowned outlet with Helwani’s coverage of MMA, Boxing, and Professional Wrestling.

The new weekly program will air Fridays at 8 p.m. ET and feature the best of Helwani and the Boys in the Back from throughout the week, including breaking news, analysis and interviews spanning the worlds of MMA, boxing and professional wrestling. Episodes will lead directly into VICE TV’s live sports programming on Friday nights.

On X, Helwani stated that the deal is for one year, with the potential for more content, although nothing is imminent.

Vice TV is the home of the Dark Side of the Ring franchise, which just wrapped its seventh season on the network. It has led to multiple spin-offs, including Dark Side of the Cage, an MMA-focused series currently in its second season. It also aired The Wrestlers, hosted by Damian Abraham.

The new series begins Friday, September 18, at 8 p.m. ET and serves as a lead-in to the LFA 42 (Legacy Fighting Alliance) card from 2018, followed by Bareknuckle Boxing programming on Vice TV.
