Katie Taylor Set To Earn Huge Salary For Final Fight At Croke Park Against Flora Pili

Katie Taylor is looking forward to a big payday when she takes on Flora Pili in her final fight at Croke Park in Dublin on Saturday night.

As Business Plus states, the 40-year-old Irish boxing star is expected to receive at least €2 million from the historic event, the total fight purse being estimated at between €3 million and €6 million.

This would mean that Taylor has a salary in the seven figures to end her professional career, a career which has made her one of the highest-paid female boxers in history. The amount, though, is still expected to be less than what she earned from her blockbuster trilogy against Amanda Serrano.

Taylor’s Croke Park Payday

Taylor has for a long time talked of her desire to fight at Croke Park, and her last match will be in front of a crowd of over 80,000 fans who have filled the stadium.

The company Business Plus believes that sales of tickets alone could bring in almost €7 million; a quarter of the tickets cost less than €40 and a family package consisting of two adults and two children was on offer for €125.50, which helped make the event accessible to Irish fans from lower economic backgrounds.

Revenue will also be generated from sponsorship and broadcasting; DAZN will show the event internationally, while RTÉ will broadcast the match in Ireland on television, through RTÉ Player and on radio. Advertising packages from RTÉ are said to be available at €30,000, premium positions costing a higher amount.

Together with Everlast, Champion and Aer Lingus, Taylor also has commercial partnerships, which increases the financial value of her last appearance.

Although her guaranteed take-home amount has not yet been officially announced, it is reported that Taylor will get at least €2 million from the event.

Final Payday Caps Lucrative Career For Taylor

The amount that Taylor has earned at Croke Park is part of the impressive sequence of big prize wins towards the end of her career.

It is believed that she earned $9 million from her victory over Serrano at Madison Square Garden in their third match in 2025; in the three bouts they had together, Taylor is thought to have accumulated a total of about $16 million, and her total wealth is estimated to be around $20 million.

The fight on Saturday is not just about earning another paycheck. Taylor will defend her WBA, IBF and WBO super lightweight titles against the undefeated French boxer Pili, together with the vacant WBC title. Winning the fight would once again enable Taylor to end her career as an undisputed champion.

This fight will also represent the first time that professional boxing has returned to Croke Park since Muhammad Ali beat Alvin “Blue” Lewis there in 1972.

For Taylor, who had previously stated that she would fight at the stadium for free, the highly anticipated homecoming is now going to be a farewell worth millions of euros.
