Saturday Night’s Main Event is almost one of WWE’s longest-standing traditions. The first SNME predates the start of Raw by eight years, and its debut episode took place during the same year as the first WrestleMania. It hasn’t been as consistent as Raw or WrestleMania, but it recently returned and now takes place a few times each year. This next edition will be a first for the show, as it will take place on a Sunday, not a Saturday. Everything you need to know about the historic event can be found below.

When Is Sunday Night’s Main Event?

As the name implies, the next Main Event will be taking place on a Sunday rather than the typical Saturday next time out. You don’t have long to wait either, as the show will be going down this Sunday, September 6, 2026. The main card will begin at 8 pm EST.

Where Can I Watch Sunday Night’s Main Event?

Almost everything under the WWE umbrella has now left Peacock. The only thing that remains is Main Event. That means if you want to watch Sunday Night’s Main Event in the US this weekend, you’ll have to watch it on Peacock. If you want to see it live outside of the US, then you’ll be able to watch Main Event live on YouTube.

Where Is Sunday Night’s Main Event Taking Place?

I associate Main Event with Atlanta, Georgia, for some reason, which is why I was surprised to find out the show had never been held in Atlanta before it made its comeback a couple of years ago. Sunday Night’s Main Event will emanate from Atlanta this weekend, marking only the second time in the event’s history that it has been hosted by a city dripping in wrestling history.

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

There aren’t many Superstars in WWE right now with more history between them than Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. Good friends and stablemates turned bitter enemies, especially after Rhodes stopped Orton from becoming WWE Champion a 15th time at WrestleMania. The Viper has been making Rhodes’ life hell ever since he returned from licking his wounds after that defeat, a saga that began with Orton costing Rhodes the opportunity to regain the title. The American Nightmare will have the chance to exact some revenge this Sunday.

Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker was being labeled as the Superstar who will carry WWE on his shoulders for years to come long before Oba Femi arrived. That’s why it must sting to see Femi not only rise to his level, but quickly surpass Breakker thanks to his series of matches with Brock Lesnar. Now there’s a battle for power between these two behemoths, and at Sunday Night’s Main Event, they will clash one-on-one for the first time ever.

Lil Yachty vs. Baron Corbin

Lil Yachty is the latest celebrity to step between the ropes in WWE, and the rapper will make his in-ring debut against Baron Corbin this weekend. There’s a future shot at Corbin’s US Title on the line, but Yachty doesn’t even need to win to secure that bag. All he needs to do is last five minutes. If he can go that long without losing. Williams gets the chance to face Corbin for the title.

Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, And Tatum Paxley vs. Jade Cargill, Michin, And B-Fab

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss have had to deal with Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin for months. Frustrating, as that almost always means Flair and Bliss are outnumbered. Not anymore. Tatum Paxley has thrown her hat into the ring and leveled the playing field. Perfect timing for Sunday Night’s Main Event as the newly formed threesome will take on Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab in six-person tag action.
