Say what you will about WWE‘s booking choices at the moment, but one positive is that they have a plethora of talent who can take over for the big name icons as they start to retire. Whether it be newer stars like Oba Femi, Bron Breakker, and Trick Williams, or veterans being given more of a chance, such as LA Knight and Solo Sikoa, any of these names can be main eventers with the support of Triple H and TKO. Now, another is set to return from injury with the same potential. And with the new physique they’re coming back with, it’s now or never for them to become a main eventer.

Bronson Reed Has Shown Great Promise in WWE

  • Reed was the NXT North American Champion.
  • After returning to WWE, he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
  • Reed had a fun feud with Seth Rollins on Raw.

Bronson Reed has had two runs in WWE. Chances are you may have forgotten all about the first one. From 2019 to 2021, he was part of NXT, where he won the NXT North American Championship, but he never reached the very top. After being let go, Reed didn’t wilt and disappear. Instead, he showed WWE what they were missing out on with runs in New Japan and TNA. They noticed, and in late 2022, Reed was back in WWE, this time on the main roster as part of Raw.

2024 became Reed’s breakout year, first by winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, then with his fantastic feud with Seth Rollins. Reed was not only put in a prominent storyline with one of the company’s biggest stars, but he was allowed to get the best of him, such as the unforgettable moment when he hit Rollins with six Tsunamis in a row, causing the fans to erupt and cheer for more. With a single segment, Reed was turned into a legitimate threat. After a feud with Braun Strowman, November 2024 saw WWE give him his biggest push so far as he was added to the Bloodline’s WarGames team at Survivor Series. That’s where it all started to go wrong.

Injuries Have Held Bronson Reed Back on Raw

  • Reed hurt his foot at Survivor Series: WarGames in 2024.
  • He beat Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in Australia.
  • Reed tore his bicep during an Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Jey Uso.

At Survivor Series, in what should have been the match to take him to the next level, Bronson Reed suffered a devastating foot injury. Just like that, his push came to a sudden halt. Six months later, he returned, and thankfully, WWE hadn’t forgotten him. Rather than starting over again from the bottom, Reed was added to The Vision. No longer was he Seth Rollins’ enemy. Now he was his friend. Although he was often in the background behind Rollins, Paul Heyman, and Bron Breakker, Reed was given a shocking victory when he was booked to beat Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in Australia.

Again, Reed was on the cusp of something big. Once more, it didn’t go as it should have. Part of this came from booking choices. When The Vision turned on Seth Rollins, it was Bron Breakker who became the leader. Reed was great, but he wasn’t the man. And when he got the pin over CM Punk at WarGames, it was the mysterious hooded figure in the ring who got all the headlines. WWE still had a plan, and it was for Reed to be in Elimination Chamber. Although he likely wasn’t going to win, he would have been in the main event. Injury struck again, though, when during a qualifying match with Jey Uso on Raw in February, Reed tore his bicep. Over six months later, he hasn’t been seen since.

  • Reed is set to return from injury in the very near future.
  • He has shared photos of his tremendous weight loss and muscle gain.
  • He needs to be a monster on his own and not stuck in the background with a faction.

Bronson Reed is missed in WWE. Fans won’t have to miss him much longer. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Reed is 100% healthy and ready to return to the ring this month. That’s great news. What’s even better are the teases from Reed himself on social media. The man we knew before won’t be returning as the same superstar. In the past, Reed was larger, a guy with a few extra pounds who still moved around with the best of them. Now, however, he has been sharing photos on social media of his weight loss and muscle gain. The Bronson Reed that’s about to come back is going to look absolutely terrifying.

In his post, with Reed jacked to the gills, he wrote, “I’m a problem.” Let’s hope he is. Raw has gotten better in recent weeks and is better than SmackDown, despite the lopsided roster which favors Friday nights. They can still do much more though. Bronson Reed is integral. As one generation gives way to the next, it’s his time. Fans have already supported him. When he returns, you can bet it will be to destroy someone to a massive pop. Let’s hope it’s The Vision. The dying faction isn’t doing anyone any favors, and to put Reed in the background in the group again would immediately kill any momentum.

Bronson Reed is a monster. Triple H needs to unleash him. He has it all, and if given a chance, he is capable of anything, including becoming a world champion. At the age of 38, it’s now or never territory. Let Bronson Reed be the best problem imaginable.
