Tessa Blanchard Officially Signs With MLW, Debut Confirmed Wrestling News Source – Latest WWE, AEW, Pro Wrestling News, AEW All In: London 2026 Results

Tessa Blanchard has officially signed with MLW and is preparing to make her debut for the promotion later this month.

Blanchard confirmed the news during an interview with TMZ Sports published on Tuesday, revealing that she is excited about beginning the next chapter of her wrestling career.

MLW has since announced that Blanchard will make her debut at Fightland on Saturday, September 12, at Festival Hall in Charleston, South Carolina.

Speaking about joining the company, Blanchard said:

“The cat’s out of the bag. That’s right. I’m gonna be starting with MLW here soon, and I’m super, super excited for everything to come.

“First of all, I think, like, MLW’s women’s division, it’s one of the best-kept secrets in wrestling. They continuously have great matches. They have great workers. They have real depth within the division. And I’ve been watching here from Mexico City. I pay attention to all of our alliances, whether it’s AEW, New Japan, Stardom, MLW, Rev Pro. I watch all of it. I love wrestling. So you gotta study your craft.

“I think what’s been missing from MLW is a franchise, a name that the division’s built around. You know, this division was built, and now the franchise, well, I’m here. That’s exactly why I’m here. Every step of this division’s growth, it’s been leading to this.

“And my goal in MLW, it’s actually very simple. I want to make the MLW Women’s World Championship the number one women’s title in wrestling.”

Blanchard’s arrival had already been teased, with a vignette airing during Saturday’s episode of MLW Fusion.

Her signing comes at an interesting time for MLW’s women’s division. The promotion has also been airing vignettes that appear to tease the arrival of Stardom’s H.A.T.E. stable.

Shotzi Blackheart currently holds the MLW Women’s World Championship and was victorious over Jazzy Yang in the opening match of Saturday’s Fusion.

Shotzi captured the championship from Shoko Nakajima during MLW’s February 7 tapings at Cicero Stadium, just outside Chicago.

Blanchard has now made her intentions clear, with the newly signed star setting her sights on helping take MLW’s women’s division and its championship to another level.
