Mercedes Mone kept the celebrations going after becoming AEW Women’s World Champion, with the new titleholder taking over the DJ booth at the Sweet Chin Disco afterparty at Crystal Club in Wembley.
Mone stepped behind the decks for the first time following her huge night at AEW All In, where she captured the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Fans at the afterparty were also treated to a nostalgic moment when Mone ended her DJ set with a tribute to her past as Sasha Banks in WWE.
Footage shared on X showed Mone finishing the night by playing “Sky’s the Limit,” the entrance theme closely associated with her Sasha Banks character during her WWE career.
The moment quickly caught the attention of wrestling fans, with Mone appearing to enjoy celebrating both her latest achievement and an important chapter from her past.
Earlier at Wembley Stadium, Mone defeated Willow Nightingale to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship for the first time in her career.
The victory came at a cost, however. Speaking during the post-All In media scrum, Mone revealed that she suffered a broken nose during the match.
There has yet to be a further update on when Mone will be cleared to return to in-ring competition.
She is still scheduled to be part of the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite, where AEW has announced a special celebration following her championship victory at All In.
