Mercedes Mone pays tribute to Sasha Banks at AEW All In afterparty
Mercedes Mone continued her AEW Women’s World Championship celebration at the Sweet Chin Disco afterparty in Crystal Club, Wembley. She ended her DJ set with a tribute to her Sasha Banks persona in WWE.
This was her first time taking on DJ duties. An X user posted a video of the newly crowned champion ending the set with ‘Sky’s the limit’, her entrance theme during her WWE tenure.
At All In, Mone defeated Willow Nightingale to win the Women’s World Title for the first time in her career.
Mone revealed in the post-show media scrum that she broke her nose in the match. There was no further update on her ability to compete in the ring. However, a celebration for her All In victory was announced for the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite.
