AEW is officially heading to Paris, with the company set to make its long-awaited debut in France later this year.

Ahead of All In 2026 in London, AEW confirmed that Grand Slam France will take place at the Adidas Arena in Paris on Tuesday, October 6.

The event will mark the promotion’s first show in France and continue AEW’s expansion across Europe. The action will be taped on October 6 before airing as that week’s editions of AEW Dynamite and Collision.

Paris becomes the latest international destination for the Grand Slam name. Previous editions have taken place in New York City, Australia and Mexico.

The Adidas Arena, which opened in 2024, can accommodate approximately 8,000 fans for sporting events, with a larger capacity available for concerts. Tickets for AEW Grand Slam France are scheduled to go on general sale on Friday, August 28.

AEW President Tony Khan believes the passionate French wrestling audience makes Paris a natural destination for the company, particularly after seeing fans travel from France to attend AEW events in London.

“There are so many great wrestling fans in France, and a lot of fans from France have made the trek to London to see AEW, and we believe there’s a lot of excitement around All Elite Wrestling in Paris, and it just felt like this would be the perfect time to launch with a huge event,” Khan said.

Will Ospreay also has previous experience competing in front of French crowds, having wrestled in the country in both 2019 and 2023. He expects AEW to receive a memorable reception when the company arrives in October.

“I don’t need to watch [the market] because I’ve experienced it before, and I just know the moment that we go over there and the bell goes off, the French fans are going to let us know they want us to keep coming back,” Ospreay said.

Before AEW arrives in Paris, Ospreay has the opportunity to capture the biggest prize in the company. At AEW All In 2026 in England on Sunday, August 30, Ospreay is scheduled to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship.

A victory would give Ospreay his first reign as AEW World Champion and could potentially see him arrive at Grand Slam France with the title around his waist.
