AAA Cruiserweight title match part of next week’s WWE NXT lineup

A match for the AAA Cruiserweight title is set for next week’s NXT.

EK Prosper will challenge Rey Fenix after he won a four-way match on Tuesday’s show to become the new number one contender, defeating La Parka, Romeo Moreno, and Tristan Angels. Rey Fenix attended Tuesday’s show to watch the action, and the two had a staredown following Prosper’s victory.

Meanwhile, a weaponized steel cage match between Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars was also announced. The two had a face-to-face splitscreen promo on Tuesday, with Shugars throwing out a challenge for a steel cage match. The two traded words with Shugars saying while Lennox was a great football player, he could never match up to Shugars.

Another match announced will see Zaria take on Kali Armstrong following a confrontation between the two inside Robert Stone’s office on Tuesday. If Armstrong is successful next week she’ll be added to the unification match that will take place at Heatwave between North American Champion Zaria and Speed Champion Wren Sinclair.
