Here Are Your Key Moments From WWE Monday Night Raw For August 17, 2026
- Stephanie Vaquer opens the show and demands to fight Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship. She says she’s not here to talk, she’s here to fight. Morgan the Judgment Day arrive, and she tells Vaquer she has a lot on her mind. She comments on Becky Lynch saying she’s ruining the title, but she doesn’t care about the women before her or after her. She’s not a champion for those women or anyone in the crowd, only for herself. She laughs at the idea that she’s scared of Vaquer, and reminds her that she took her out of action for months. Morgan says the only thing that matters is that she’s champion. Vaquer asks her to get in the ring if she’s not scared, and Morgan enters the ring with Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, The three beat down Vaquer until Becky Lynch to help break it up, but as she and Vaquer continue to fight, the Judgment Day beat down both Vaquer and Lynch, leaving them laying.
- The Usos enter with Solo Sikoa, making good to deliver him to Roman Reigns. As they mock him, LA Knight appears. Jey tells him and Sikoa that they both know the play, and that Reigns is waiting.
- Following his win over JD McDonagh, Big Cass attacks Je’Von Evans and pummels him in the ring. Cass throws Evans around the ring and stands tall over him and leaves the ring. Evans grabs a mic and asks Cass if that’s all he’s got, and Cass comes back to the ring and Evans gets offense on him. The two brawl outside the ring until Dominik Mysterio intervenes and throws Evans into the ring post.
- Jacob Fatu is backstage with The Usos, and Jey asks him why he looks so sad, but reminds him that he did something Jacob couldn’t. Jey says him and Jimmy ran the play and that’s all that matters. Jey takes his glasses off and asks Jacob who the punk is now.
- During The Vision segment backstage, Bron Breakker continues to stare into space at Austin Theory and Logan Paul talk about crushing the roster. When asked whether he had anything to say to Oba Femi, Breakker says that he’ll say it directly to his face. He goes to the ring and tells Femi to come to the ring right now. Paul Heyman appears and comes to the ring. He says he was an Advocate, is an Oracle, and also a Wiseman. He says he wants to figure out the question that is on everyone’s mind: Who really is the future of WWE? Breakker tells him to tell him who is, and before he can speak, Femi appears and comes to the ring. Femi tells Breakker that everyone knows who the future is, including Brock Lesnar, and the future is Oba Femi. He tells Breakker if he has a problem with that answer, he can take it up with him any day, any time. Breakker says right now, but he’s held back by Heyman, who tells him if he takes one more step towards Femi, he takes a permanent step away from him. Heyman tells him that he doesn’t answer to the fans, he answers to the shareholders. Heyman tells Breakker that they don’t do an impromptu match, they understand they promote this match, and he’s already set it up with Adam Pearce. Breakker and Femi will compete at Sunday Night’s Main Event in Altanta, to find out who really is the future of WWE.
- Roman Reigns arrives with Jacob Fatu. Reigns says that while he could stand there all night and let them cheer his name, he has a receipt to collect, and demands that Solo Sikoa is brought to him. Sikoa comes to the ring and face to face with Reigns. He tells Sikoa the sight of him pisses him off. Reigns says he’s a blessed man and has everything anyone could imagine, but some say he’s petty. Reigns says he’s held onto this receipt for three years after beating him in Tribal Combat. A video package plays where Sikoa acknowledges Reigns but then leaves the family. Reigns asks him why he’s laughing and after taking his glasses off his face, Fatu attacks Sikoa with the Tongan Death Grip. He tells Sikoa he’s got other business to handle. He says The Usos are now his Captains in his family, and presents them with their own black Ula Falas to acknowledge their work, but does not present one to Fatu, who looks angry in the corner. LA Knight appears and comes to the ring. Knight dispatches The Usos from the ring but Fatu attacks Knight. Reigns stops Fatu from continuing the attack and scolds Fatu for getting involved. Reigns delivers the Superman Punch to Knight and before he continues to attack him, he looks at Sikoa and scolds him for teaming with Knight. Reigns demands that Sikoa end Knight and send him home. Before delivering the spike to Knight, Sikoa pivots and spikes Reigns instead. The Usos stare in shock, and he and Knight dispatch them. Fatu and Knight stare off in the ring, but Fatu refuses to engage him. As Reigns comes to attack him again, Knight hits him with a BFT and lays him out. Fatu stares at Knight and Sikoa. The two leave together and Sikoa thanks Knight, telling him that he owes him for the help.
Solo Sikoa Refuses To Join Roman Reigns, But We Have Lots Of Questions About Jacob Fatu
Solo Sikoa was delivered as promised to Roman Reigns, but it didn’t exactly go as planned. Before the Bloodline could attempt to attack LA Knight, Sikoa made his choice and spiked Reigns, aligning with Knight, but one thing that couldn’t help to be noticed was Jacob Fatu looking angry in the corner, and the old Bobby Heenan phrase comes to mind: “Who’s side is he on?“
Fatu wasn’t pleased being left out of receiving ula falas from the Tribal Chief, and it could be feasible there’s more dissension in the ranks now that Sikoa has refused to fall in line. We seem to be ramping up another program between LA Knight and Roman Reigns, but Knight’s got help on his side this time around, and if Fatu aligns with Sikoa and Knight, we may have a new World Heavyweight Champion on our hands whenever their match takes place.
