Vince Russo Could Approach Tony Khan About Bringing JCW To MyAEW Wrestling News Source – Latest WWE, AEW, Pro Wrestling News, AEW All In: London 2026 Results
Vince Russo already has a potential backup plan in mind if JCW is unable to secure a new streaming deal, and it could involve AEW President Tony Khan.
Speaking with Ben Veal, Russo revealed that he believes JCW could potentially find a home on MyAEW, AEW’s expanding streaming platform. While no discussions with Khan have taken place yet, Russo said he would be prepared to make contact if JCW’s current efforts elsewhere fail to produce a deal.
“I think I can get JCW on that app. If JCW doesn’t get a streaming deal, I’m going to talk to Tony about trying to get on that app.”
For now, JCW remains focused on securing its own streaming agreement. Russo explained that people are currently working to shop the promotion around, although he does not expect much progress during the summer when television negotiations traditionally slow down.
September appears to be the key month. Russo expects those efforts to become more aggressive once summer ends, and if JCW is still without a deal, he could then reach out to Khan.
“It’s going to be the, you know, we’ve got guys selling the show, bro, but you’re not going to sell shows during the summer. That’s just how TV is. It’s not going to happen. But, you know, come September, they’re going to really go hard. If they don’t get anything for us, I definitely am going to try to have a conversation with Tony. So, I don’t know why he wouldn’t do that. I think that’s a no-brainer.”
Such a move would not be completely unexpected given the direction MyAEW has taken. The service has expanded beyond AEW programming by welcoming content from several other wrestling promotions, including United Wrestling Network, Metroplex Wrestling, Pro-Wrestling EVE, Revolution Pro Wrestling, Westside Xtreme Wrestling and AML/WrestleCade Entertainment.
Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling also brought MLP Mayhem to MyAEW in July, further establishing the platform as a potential destination for wrestling content outside Tony Khan’s own promotion.
GCW owner Brett Lauderdale has also previously confirmed discussions with AEW regarding the possibility of GCW programming appearing on MyAEW, although no agreement has been announced.
Russo acknowledged that simply getting JCW onto the service would not be enough, however. Any potential agreement would need to make financial sense for the promotion.
“Yeah. No, I’m, yeah, you would just have to see what the financials are. You know, how are you going to benefit? Are you going to make any money? I mean, those are the things you’d have to look at.”
At this stage, Russo’s idea remains strictly a backup option. JCW will continue pursuing other opportunities before potentially turning towards AEW in September.
If those negotiations fail to deliver, however, Tony Khan could receive a call from Russo about adding another wrestling promotion to MyAEW.
