Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Receives Disney Legend Award, Leads Crowd In Singing Happy Birthday To Daughter Simone
Dwayne Johnson put the spotlight on his daughter.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has officially accepted the title of a Disney Legend. At D23, he was honored by the Walt Disney Company. Johnson has starred in ‘The Game Plan,’ ‘Jungle Cruise,’ ‘Moana,’ and ‘Race to Witch Mountain.’
During his speech, he spotlighted his daughter Simone Johnson, f.k.a. WWE NXT General Manager Ava, who was in attendance. He got emotional while speaking about her and their memories from when she was a kid.
Johnson proceeded to lead the crowd in singing happy birthday to Simone as she turned 25 years old on August 14th.

Johnson then shouted out his younger daughters Jasmine and Tiana, who were watching from home.
The Disney Legends Awards have been happening for 39 years. A total of 329 people have been honored, and that number includes the 2026 inductees. Johnson’s class includes Anne Hathaway, Susan Egan, Alan Tudyk, The Jonas Brothers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Eric Goldberg, and former Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger.
