Chelsea Green celebrates WWE Women’s title win at Disney World
The new interim WWE Women’s Champion is still celebrating her title win.
Chelsea Green shared on social media pictures of her with the WWE Women’s Championship at Disney World on Sunday. In another photo, she posed with husband Matt Cardona.
“Gonna tell my kids this was my fave Disney Princess,” the caption read.

Green won the interim title at SummerSlam in a five-way ladder match. However, her reign quickly came into question after injuring her orbital bone on the following SmackDown.
On this week’s show, Nick Aldis informed Green that she would have to vacate the Women’s title as a result of the injury. After showing defiance, she ultimately relented and exited the ring, dejected. However Aldis had a change of heart and informed Green that she would have 30 days to defend the title.
This brought out Gunther, who was upset about his own SummerSlam situation after losing a fatal-four way match to become number one contender for the WWE title. He continued to insult Green until Cardona came out for the save. The two had a match, but it was clear who was the better man as Gunther quickly demolished Cardona.
As Green checked on her husband, Nia Jax & Lash Legend arrived, with Jax making it clear she wanted the next shot at the Women’s title. Tiffany Stratton ran down for the save, protecting her friend.
