Darby Allin has no regrets about his short AEW World title run
Darby Allin surprised the world when he won his first-ever AEW World title, although the run did not last very long.
Earlier this year, at AEW Dynamite Spring Break, Allin defeated MJF within a few minutes to win his first-ever AEW World title. However, after a few successful title defenses, Allin lost it back to MJF.
Ending his title run at just 39 days, Allin lost to MJF at AEW Double or Nothing. However, despite the short championship run, Allin has no regrets about it.
“I have no regrets with that. I was burning the candle at both ends, but I have no regrets at all because you live by the sword, you die by the sword.
“So a short and sweet championship run, that’s my motto in life. You just got to bring it, man. But I honestly have no regrets. I would not change a single thing,” Allin said during his appearance on The Mark Hoke Show.
Allin is currently in a title feud against TNT Champion Kevin Knight and has challenged him for a match at AEW All In London 2026.
