Oba Femi’s Next WWE Feud Will Be Epic
Oba Femi’s 2026 has been huge for the new star. Since arriving on the WWE main roster he has defeated Brock Lesnar at both WrestleMania 42 and at SummerSlam 2026 (in a Hell In A Cell main event no loss), plus he has also been crowned as the King Of The Ring. With the WWE fans red hot behind everything he does, handling him in the best way is one of the most important and pivotal tasks for WWE’s creative team going forwards. On the post-SummerSlam edition of RAW, a brand new feud was teased for Oba Femi, hinting at something epic. There are some who may argue it is too soon, but booking Oba Femi against Bron Breakker seems to be WWE’s next move, and it is sure to be a hit.
Bron Breakker Is Unhappy With Oba Femi Taking His Spot
- Femi has been touted as the future of WWE.
- Breakker is unhappy at being ousted from the position of being WWE’s biggest prospect.
- Breakker has been frustrated at Paul Heyman’s newfound respect of Femi.
After Oba Femi conquered Brock Lesnar in the main event of SummerSlam 2026 Saturday, Lesnar took to the mic and endorsed Femi as being the “future” of WWE, raising his arm in the process. On the RAW after SummerSlam, Paul Heyman congratulated Femi in a show of respect. There was one man severely unhappy with these developments; Bron Breakker, the man who had been billed as being WWE’s next big thing before Femi came along and Breakker dropped down out of contention at the top of the card.
Breakker and Femi had a showdown on RAW, before Breakker headed to the ring for his match with Joe Hendry. During the bout, Breakker continued to stare at the ramp where he’d had this face-off with Femi, showing a lot of frustration. Backstage, Breakker demanded to see Femi, asking Heymah where his “new best friend” was. Breakker declared himself as the future, not happy with the fact that Femi is taking all the spotlight and buzz. The development of this frustration, especially with how angry Breakker has appeared in recent weeks, plus some jealousy at Heyman showing less interest in him, has developed very naturally and authentically, making this feud one with a lot of potential and real animosity which can be explored.
Oba Femi Vs. Bron Breakker Can Feed WWE Fans For The Next Generation
- Booking Femi & Breakker together can lead to a career-long rivalry.
- WWE building their bad blood so soon allows them to return to this rivalry for the decade and beyond.
- Femi & Breakker are the future of WWE.
Bron Breakker & Oba Femi are both the future of WWE, and beginning their feud in 2026 can set the course of their respective careers. Femi vs. Breakker can be the next Austin vs. Rock, Cena vs. Orton, and Reigns vs. Rollins, meeting each other at multiple points throughout the rest of their WWE tenures, battling any time they come across each other and carving out a long-standing legacy that can be revisited for years and years to come.
Their first feud and meeting in 2026 can establish their bad blood and personal hatred, setting the tone for years worth of matches, PLE main events, WrestleMania showdowns, stipulation bouts, and so much more. This is a great opportunity for WWE to elevate their respective profiles by having them work together. There is an argument to be made that WWE is turning to this feud too soon since neither are main event talent as of yet, but why not? If Femi & Breakker are both free and available, there is nothing to lose by having them wrestle. WWE often misses the boat on booking big matches, opting to wait instead,
Oba Femi’s Next WWE Feud Will Be Great
- WWE must ensure Femi isn’t ruined going forwards.
- A rivalry with Breakker keeps Femi strong and relevant.
- This feud can tie Femi over to a world title pursuit in 2027.
Oba Femi and Bron Breakker have performed well within any scenario they’ve been asked to work in thus far, with Femi looking like the equal of Brock Lesnar and Breakker going toe-to-toe with the likes of Seth Rollins. Although both men need a win going forwards, a loss against one another won’t be too damaging, and they can use it to build momentum in the aftermath. Femi in particular is someone riding a wild wave of momentum and needs something significant, so feuding with the hated heels of The Vision is one hell of a way to allow his continued development and buzz.
Femi facing the likes of Breakker, Logan Paul and Austin Theory can tie him over into 2027 where a world title pursuit needs to be a major priority for WWE.
