Wendy Choo and Adriana Rizzo Among Ten Reported WWE NXT Releases Wrestling News Source – Latest WWE, AEW, Pro Wrestling News, Sunday Night’s Main Event Results

At least ten wrestlers have reportedly been released from their WWE NXT contracts.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Wendy Choo and Adriana Rizzo are among the latest names to leave the company. Their departures follow the confirmed exits of PJ Vasa and Jasper Troy.

The reported list of departures currently includes:

Wendy Choo
Adriana Rizzo
Zena Sterling
Anya Rune
Braxton Cole
Jasper Troy
PJ Vasa
Gary Wilson
Ellen Akesson
Marcus Brown

It remains unclear whether this is the complete list. Fightful has also reported that there have been no indications of any main roster releases.

Vasa and Troy previously confirmed their departures. WWE developmental talent reportedly have a 30-day non-compete clause in their contracts.

Choo had been with WWE for several years after first appearing on NXT television in 2019. She later portrayed Mei Ying, the mysterious leader of Tian Sha, before being repackaged as the pyjama-wearing Wendy Choo.

Following another character change, Choo moved to WWE Evolve and captured the Evolve Women’s Championship in April. She lost the title to Nikkita Lyons in June.

Rizzo became best known as a member of Tony D’Angelo’s Family. She had been absent from television since suffering a knee injury last summer, around the same period that the D’Angelo Family storyline came to an end.
