Tatum Paxley is one of the many names who joined WWE’s developmental system without prior professional wrestling experience, so she came into the business later than many who are in the company today. However, in the current context of WWE’s average age, Paxley is still on the younger side of those on the Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown rosters. She is 29 years of age as of this writing, turning 30 before the year comes to a close.

Paxley is just three or four years into her professional wrestling career (her debut match coming in NXT in 2022) so she is well able to have more than a decade in WWE to climb the ranks and make a name for herself. WWE’s current line-up of main eventers in the men’s division are all in and around the age of 40, so there is plenty of time for Paxley to make an impact through her time on the main roster.

When attempting to stand out in WWE, having a height and weight advantage has certainly been an avenue for many wrestlers to make a name for themselves. The likes of Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair, and Lash Legend are all seen as imposing figures due to their height, with the smaller competitors in WWE such as Lyra Valkyria, Iyo Sky, and others seen as underdogs.

Tatum Paxley is on the shorter side, but nearing more of the average height for those within the WWE women’s division, standing at 5 feet and 5 inches. She manages to hold her own in the ring against anyone though with her frenetic energy, demented mind games, and willingness to take to the skies.

  • Paxley is a former NXT Women’s Champion.
  • She also won the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
  • This is an unprecedented feat in WWE’s developmental brand.

Before ever making it to the WWE main roster, Tatum Paxley had already made a name for herself. During her few year spell in NXT, she made history by becoming just the second wrestler in NXT history to win the NXT Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s North American Championship, with Stephanie Vaquer as the only other name to accomplish this impressive feat.

Paxley first won the NXT Women’s Championship, defeating Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne at NXT Halloween Havoc 2025, embarking on a short 24-day reign with the gold before dropping it back to Jayne at NXT Gold Rush, holding the prize for less than a month. It wasn’t long until Paxley got her hands on more gold as she dethroned Izzi Dame NXT Vengeance Day 2026 to win the North American belt, reigning for three months and defending it against the likes of Blake Monroe, Lizzy Rain, and Alba Fyre in what was a very impressive run with the belt, before losing the title to Zaria.

Tatum Paxley Is Married To Another Professional Wrestler

  • Paxley is married to a fellow wrestler.
  • She is married to former NXT star Javier Bernal.
  • Paxley & Bernal married in 2024.

Likely due to the fact that professional wrestling is such a bizarre and unique character-driven environment both inside and outside of the ring, fans have always taken keen interest in the real lives of wrestlers when they aren’t competing, particularly when it comes to relationship status, marriages, and the like.

Tatum Paxley is one of many in the professional wrestling business to have struck a relationship with a fellow wrestler in the form of former NXT competitor Javier Bernal, who now just wrestles as Javi on the independent scene since his WWE release. The pair got engaged in September 2023 before tying the knot and getting married in September 2024, remaining that way ever since.

Charlotte Flair Was Behind Her Main Roster Call Up

  • Paxley was called up to the WWE main roster in 2026.
  • She aligned with Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss.
  • Reports suggested that Flair was behind Paxley’s call-up.

Tatum Paxley arrived on the WWE main roster in August of 2026, showing up for a surprise debut as she took out Michin & B-Fab, aligning with both Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss in the process during a match between Flair & Jade Cargill. This was quite a substantial spot for the new name, and it came thanks to WWE’s most successful wrestler on the current roster.

According to a report from False Finish HQ, it was Flair herself who made the personal request to work with Paxley on the main roster, which is a glowing endorsement considering her success and status as a veteran in the women’s division. In the time since her shock debut on Friday Night SmackDown, Paxley has been creepily obsessed with Flair in several comedic backstage segments, showing a lot of promise between the ropes too in her matches against the likes of Michin. It would be of no surprise if Paxley & Flair cross paths as opponents eventually on SmackDown given Flair’s desire to work alongside her and bring her up from NXT.
