On Thursday, Tony Khan held a media call ahead of Sunday’s AEW All In: London. WrestleTix estimated that there are 43,585 tickets distributed by their last count on Wednesday. All In: London is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET at Wembley Stadium.

  • Tony Khan opened the call by talking about how Wembley is one of the largest venues AEW has run, and that it will be a top-three attended AEW show. He also noted that he wanted to grow AEW’s relationship with ITV. Khan mentioned that All In: London is approaching a $6 million gate.

“It’s one of the biggest success stories in pro wrestling history, and it’s going to be an amazing event this Sunday.”

  • Jamie Hayter received high praise, and her tag team match with Alex Windsor against Divine Dominion was previewed.
  • On possibly planning a longer tour in the United Kingdom, Khan said he’s thought about more opportunities for AEW to visit more cities.
  • Khan reiterated that All In: London will be “by far our biggest PPV on HBO Max.” The show will run at most, four hours, so it should run from 1 p.m. ET to 5 p.m. ET.
  • Khan also discussed more about the trios division and previewed the trios match on the card. He added that he takes pride in booking The Buy In and said that it will feature a Trios Roulette Royale, which will be a callback to the “$300,000 Three Kings Christmas Casino Trios Battle Royal” match from 2022. In the match will be the champions (Adam Page and Brodido), The Dogs, The Bang Bang Gang (Jay White and The Gunns), The Demand, The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong), the Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, PAC and Daniel Garcia) and a wild card team that will consist of wrestlers that he’s scouted all over the world.
  • The next questions concerned the balance of debuting a new wrestler and making sure they don’t get lost in the shuffle. Khan noted that injuries always happen, and he called the AEW roster the best in the world. He noted that he’s always trying to book the best show possible that also includes as many people as possible.
  • Khan said to stay tuned when it comes to Thekla’s return, which could be soon, and pointed out how large the All In: London card is already. He also noted that there are always more opportunities for wrestlers on the card, too. He praised Thekla, her title run and how valued she is in AEW.
  • Khan confirmed a report that stated Willow Nightingale is dealing with a hand injury and booking around that. He admitted that he had plans for her on Dynamite that needed to be changed. He added that Nightingale will wrestle with the hand injury.
  • Khan said the Kenny Omega-Will Ospreay match has at least been penciled in since Omega won the title at Beach Break. Khan praised Omega for his influence in creating AEW and his comeback journey. He also talked about how he’s wanted Omega versus Ospreay for the AEW World Championship for a long time and how this year was the time to do it.
  • On why there wasn’t a Women’s Casino Gauntlet this year, Khan noted he’s still working through the card and how there was still an opportunity to include more women on the card, implying another match could be added. He also pointed out that they had a Women’s Casino Gauntlet last month.
  • On MyAEW being the home for AEW and ROH’s library, Khan first called the WBD media partnership the “lifeblood” of the company and that any decision regarding MyAEW would need their blessing. He then talked about how viewership for Dynamite and Collision is up year over year. Khan acknowledged that streaming viewership isn’t transparent but said that AEW is one of the top programs on HBO Max, including the PPVs, and reiterated that All In: London will be one of the top shows on the service.
  • Khan reiterated that there are always opportunities to add more to the card when asked about Britt Baker. He praised her impact as an AEW original and said to stay tuned for a potential return.
  • Khan said he wanted a Cup Final at Wembley, praised the C3 matches so far, and is looking forward to Jon Moxley versus Nigel McGuinness in the final. He said he would need to reflect to decide if it would be an annual thing.

Khan ended the call by leaving it open to more additions to the card. He added that he’s continuing to look for talent to be the Jokers/Wild Card in the Trios Roulette Royal. He ended the call by hyping up All In: London and how he’s looking forward to the show.
