Nattie Neidhart wants larger behind-the-scenes role in WWE
A WWE veteran and part of the promotion for almost two decades, Nattie Neidhart recently opened up about wanting a bigger behind-the-scenes role in WWE.
In a recent interview with Soundsphere Magazine, the 44-year-old opened up about not just being a wrestler but also seeking a much more diverse role in the promotion.
“Bully Ray, Bubba Dudley, he said to me, ‘Nattie, you’ve already paid your dues, why do you keep paying them?’ and I’m like, ‘because the rent’s always due’. There’s never going to be a moment as long as I’m actively wrestling that I’m not going to be paying my dues.
“I don’t want to just be a wrestler in WWE, I want to be everything. I want to be behind the camera. I want to be working with the girls, I want to be working with the guys. I want to be writing promos, directing, creating, producing. I see myself building stories far, far, far beyond what I’m doing in the ring,” Neidhart said.
A part of WWE since 2007, Nattie Neidhart is a multi-time champion with the promotion and is currently more focused on elevating up-and-coming wrestlers than seeking in-ring time for herself. She is currently involved in a feud with Thea Hail and Jaida Parker on WWE NXT.
