Submission match part of updated WWE NXT Heatwave lineup

A new match has been added to NXT Heatwave.

Nattie will battle Jaida Parker in a submission match following the events of Tuesday’s NXT. Although she praised her rival on this week’s show, Nattie in an in-ring promo said she is wasting her potential. Parker arrived and said she wasn’t wasting anything and didn’t need Nattie’s approval. The two ended the segment agreeing to the match that will now take place this Sunday.

The two have been feuding for most of the summer. Nattie initially defeated Parker by submission on the June 16 episode of NXT. But Parker followed up with a ref stoppage victory on the July 21 edition of the program.

In addition to the submission match, it was confirmed that Kali Armstrong would be added to the match between Zaria and Wren Sinclair, turning it into a triple threat match for both the Women’s Speed and Women’s North American titles. Armstrong defeated Zaria to earn the title match.
