A former WWE performer appears to have been teased for an upcoming PROGRESS Wrestling event.

PROGRESS’ When September Ends event is taking place on Sunday, September 27 from the Camden Ballroom in London, England, and new company owner Big Damo/Killian Dain in NXT is teasing an appearance (potentially) of a former WWE and AEW name.

Damo took to X to write “there’s a hint in the show title…I would really recommend you nab your tickets soon” in a quote tweet for the show. Although he has already been billed to return as Malakai Black, it does appear as though Damo is referring to Tommy End, the name that Black used prior to his signing to WWE.

Malakai Black/Tommy End at PROGRESS

PROGRESS are bringing Black in for the upcoming Odyssey Tour, but it looks like he will be back for the Camden show in September as well.

As mentioned, he was billed as Malakai Black for that tour, but the former WWE and AEW name appeared in his first match since his WWE release in April as “Tommy End” for Dark Arts Gym. It has not been confirmed whether this will be his name going forward, or whether it was a one-off, but Damo does appear to be teasing Black/End for the September show.

That, or there’s an indie wrestler out there called Jason September….or something.
