John Cena: I Have No Guilt Nor Shame About My Friendship And Relationship With Vince McMahon

John Cena continues to be unapologetic of his friendship and relationship with Vince McMahon despite recent controversies.

McMahon has almost always been a controversial figure in the world of professional wrestling, but following recent accusations of sexual misconduct relating to Janel Grant, wrestlers and personalities alike in the industry have distanced themselves from the former owner of WWE. However, some have remained in McMahon’s corner, including one of his biggest stars in WWE history in Cena, and in a new interview, Cena has continued to justify his continued relationship with McMahon.

While speaking to the Guardian in a new interview, John Cena was once again asked about his relationship with Vince McMahon, with Cena stating he has no guilt or shame about his friendship with his former boss. Cena would also continue to mention that people do not have to be perfect to remain in your life.

“I have no guilt nor shame about my friendship and my relationship with Vince McMahon, you’re obviously going to put this in [your] article. It’s OK to love somebody when they’re not perfect.”

Earlier this year, Cena would speak on a moment where he believes he violated Vince McMahon’s trust by getting involved with an ‘entrepreneurial social network startup.’ You can read more about that here.
