TheSportster’s rating system will take a look across the entire match card for Worlds Collide 2026 to determine the best match of the night, the weakest showcase on the card, and how everything else stacked up in between.

A mixed tag team match opened up Worlds Collide as the NXT group of The Vanity Project & Mini Abismo Negro fought against a line-up of AAA stars. The opening stages provided a good showcase for several competitors, most notably in the form of the impressive powerhouse Myka Lockwood, who hit a wild flipping slam, plus La Parka running wild against all of his opponents. The heels eventually slowed down the flurry and beat down Parka, who fought from below to bring in Iguana (and his trusty chameleon puppet) for a hot tag.

The crowd popped hard for Iguana’s antics, which were plenty of fun as usual, followed by Sagrada’s impressive offense which further got the audience rocking. Sagarada found himself faced off with Lockwood in a wild showdown, only to be saved by Adelicious. The final moments saw some awkward-looking offense and sloppy spots, but it didn’t impact the investment from the fans. It was Sagrada who secured the win after a pinning combination on Abismo in a fun opener.

CM Punk, AAA Mega Champion El Grande Americano, and Rey Mysterio formed an all-star team in the main event of Worlds Collide, battling Dominik Mysterio and his allies in Omos & JD McDonagh. This was your typical house-show style main event. It was a slow burn early on, with a lot of room for fun character interactions, comedic moments, cheap shots from the heels, and crowd work.

Mysterio, McDonagh & Omos soon took control of the match, slowing down proceedings and beating up Americano for what felt like an age. Punk soon entered the ring for a hot tag, playing up to the audience with his silly antics. It took all three babyfaces to take down Omos, although it took some time, clearing the field for a spree of finishers. It was a GTS on McDonagh that won the match for the babyface trio. The losers of the match issued an attack post-match, leading to the arrival of Oba Femi, who took them down to close the show.

A few weeks after their noteworthy RAW main event, Penta & Rey Fenix wrestled in a straight up tag team match in WWE for the first time ever, taking on Berto & Daga of Los Perros Del Mal at Worlds Collide. It was great to see these brothers team up again, with the match proving how amazingly well they work together with some electric tandem offense. Just as the pair built some steam, the heelish stable used their numbers advantage to run interference and take control, though this period of dominance arguably lasted for way too long.

Penta’s hot tag injected more life back into the match, with him still riding a strong wave of momentum stemming from his show-stealer with Roman Reigns. These four men continued to battle until Daga hit a low blow late into the match to cause a frustrating DQ. This made the lengthy runtime of this tag match feel like a complete waste.

The reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Fatal Influence wrestled the Las Toxicas duo at Worlds Collide, though it came in non-title action. Despite their issues recently, Flammer & La Hiedra worked as a cohesive unit early on, displaying plenty of charisma as they built momentum. However, with the presence of Jacy Jayne at ringside, the Fatal Influence pairing of Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid turned the tide and slowed things down.

Flammer eventually entered the ring for an impressive hot tag, bringing her team back into the contest. After the action broke down with everyone getting involved, getting more intense and hard-hitting as it continued, a blind tag from Hiedra to Flammer caused some issues between the pair, resulting in Reid rolling up Hiedra to steal the win.

Back at AAA TripleMania, La Catalina claimed the Reinas De Reinas Title, and Roxanne Perez also earned a shot at the gold, setting the foundation for this showdown at Worlds Collide. Perez’s vicious, arrogant heelish work was on display early on, ending their opening exchanges with cheap shots and intense attacks to the champion. She continued to have Catalina’s number for several minutes, before the new babyface titleholder fought her way back into the match as the fans rallied behind her.

The Judgment Day member continued to use underhanded tactics to turn the tide, but Catalina’s resilience and babyface energy ensured that she remained in the contest. They went back-and-forth with strikes, submissions, and impactful moves, but it was an ingenious Pop Rox reversal into a pinfall that allowed Catalina to retain her gold in a well-executed matchup.

Two incredible athletes in Dragon Lee & Jack Cartwheel went toe-to-toe at Worlds Collide, seeking to fit a lot of action into just eight minutes. The action was fluid, fast-paced, athletic, and featured a whole bunch of impressive maneuvers, reversals, and sequences. In just a short space of time, both men displayed their stunning moveset, ability to land on their feet out of nowhere, and more.

The latter stages of the match felt like an authentic struggle in which both men attempted to try and hit a decisive blow with a whole manner of big moves, and in the end Lee got his knees up after a big dive before nailing Operation Dragon for a big win. These two must be commended for how much they managed to accomplish in under ten minutes.

Wrestlers from all of WWE’s bands battled in out for a shot at the AAA Cruiserweight Championship at Worlds Collide as Mini Vikingo (AAA), Axiom (SmackDown), EK Prosper (NXT), and Je’Von Evans (RAW) all met in the ring. Much like the show-stealing fatal four way match at TripleMania recently, this was an insane showcase of fast-paced, high-flying, and lucha libre action, sending the audience into multiple frenzies.

All four men got plenty of chances to shine, giving the fans some breathtaking moves and sequences. Not every single moment and move was perfect, but these incredible cruiserweights managed to keep the match on track with ease. Following near-falls, big moves (including a wild moment in which Evans caught Vikingo in a cutter mid-Shooting Star Press), and more, it was Mini Vikingo who stood tall with another Shooting Star Press and Phoenix 630 Splash.
