Mason Rook not medically cleared for NXT, Grayson Waller to hold open challenge – POST Wrestling
Mason Rook is off tonight’s NXT broadcast and his championship match with Grayson Waller.
NXT posted a video with host Emily Agard stating that Rook is not medically cleared to compete tonight. Waller will still defend the championship tonight, but the opponent was not revealed in the post.
Rook won a three-way match against Saquon Shugars and Tony D’Angelo on the September 15 episode of NXT to earn the title shot. Last week’s show ended with a promo segment involving Waller and Rook to hype the match.
